I've been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner for over seventeen years. I've given thousands of Functional Integration® lessons, led well over a hundred virtual one-on-one sessions, taught hundreds of Awareness Through Movement® classes and currently practice in New Paltz, New York and teach group classes online via Zoom.
I've helped clients with a myriad of issues, ranging from neck, back, hip, knee, ankle and shoulder pain to eye strain and neurological problems. Adept at utilizing the mind-body connection inherent to the Feldenkrais Method, I've aided those recovering from grief, trauma and abuse, especially when those life events are manifesting completely or in part as physical pain. I'm experienced at assisting clients with improving their walking mechanics.
I also provide a mentoring service to new or training Feldenkrais practitioners who are seeking individual attention in their quest to refine their skills and establish a more active, vibrant and consistently profitable Feldenkrais practice.
I graduated from the Feldenkrais Professional Training Program with David Zemach-Bersin in 2003. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Theater Arts from UCLA and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater with an acting concentration from Florida State University. For many years, I was a professional actor, theater director and producer. I'm a pretty good skier and I'm enthusiastic about sharing my insights about how the Feldenkrais Method can be applied to improve not only your physical well being, but your entire life.
The following are service marks or certification marks of the Feldenkrais Guild of North America: Feldenkrais®, Feldenkrais Method®, Functional Integration®, Awareness Through Movement®, ATM®, FI®, and Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM.
